What is considered to be most expressive in a woman? Of course, eyes many will answer. But if you think, not just eyes give expression to our face, but their natural frame, namely eyebrows.
Untended or conversely too carefully plucked eyebrows often attract attention and spoil the overall impression of exterior. That’s why eyebrows need a special care, and careful tracking of their form.
The easiest way to correct both form and color of eyebrows - is to address to a specialist. In a salon they can carry out following procedures to correct eyebrows:
-depilation (removal of superfluous hair);
-coloring of hairs;
-permanent makeup (tattoo) of eyebrows.
Once your eyebrows are “made”, you’ll have to take care of them - pull out new hairs periodically, and if necessary, use make-up.
However, if you prefer, you can correct your eyebrows at home.
Preparation
In order to correct your eyebrows, you will need:
-big mirror
-forceps
-disinfectant lotion
You will need a large mirror, firstly, to free your hands, and secondly, so that you could see both eyes simultaneously. Lighting should be bright, it is desirable to make correction in daylight.
Wash your hands thoroughly. Clean your face and eyebrows, wipe them with disinfecting lotion. Treat forceps with alcohol solution. Often you can hear a recommendation to use cream on eyebrows area, but I do not advise this, because eyebrows may slip, and the procedure will be more painful and less effective.
Pluck eyebrows
The method simple, but there are few secrets. You need to capture hair near root as close as possible, pull skin using free hand and pull out sharply. Try to grab a single hair, do not rush. Against pain you can use either hot packs (they are expanding pores and hair is pulled out easier), or, conversely, treat an eyebrow area with a piece of ice (cold is a good way of pain relief).
Create a form. Classical «ideal» eyebrows represent three lines, running through each half of face. In order to determine where eyebrows should begin and end and have a point of maximum bend, you need to create these lines on your face. This can be done using a pencil. Attach a pencil to a face, so that it would pass through the points described below, and mark its intersection with the line of your eyebrow.
The first line starts from a wing of nose to eyebrow and passes through inner eye corner. At the point of intersection of this line to your eyebrow you should extend it straight up. You will get a start line of your eyebrow. All the hairs that fall outside this line to the bridge, are redundant and subject to removal.
The second line also starts from the wing of nose, but is already taking place through outer eye corner. The point of intersection of this line with eyebrow - the end point of your eyebrow. If some hairs are left from the outside, they also need to be removed. If your natural eyebrow is rather short and does not reach this point, you will need to consider this in make-up.
The third line passes through the edge of iris, when you look straight. It begins like any other, from wing of nose, and its point of intersection with an eyebrow is the largest bending, as well as the highest point of your eyebrow.
Having removed extra hairs from right and left to control points, remove excess hairs on the bottom of eyebrows, creating a desired bending and giving them final shape.
Do not overdo, even if you think your eyebrows are very wide and thick. Pull out few hairs on one eyebrow and do the same on the other, otherwise you risk to get eyebrows, not related to each other. Look in the mirror. Eyebrows should be symmetrical.
It is good, if you can look at yourself through 2 mirrors, ie the way others see you, not the way you used to see yourself in the mirror. Then you can correct the height and thickness of eyebrows more accurately, if you have a natural asymmetry. Take a break, take a look in the mirror again and, if necessary, continue the procedure. Once finished, treat eyebrow area with lotion again. Now you can apply cream, but better - gel, for example, with aloe.
Do not forget you should maintain obtained form through regular plucking. Maybe once every few months you’ll have to visit a specialist, so that he could level shape of your eyebrows and you could take care of them easier.
