10_oshibok_060506_b.jpgTwice a year shoppaholics suffer from fire and brimstone, roaming sales and trying to buy everything sold with at least some discount.

While sales you can see something incredible in stores - crowds of crazy women try to take everything from showcases and in the end get a hole in their budget and a lot of unnecessary things. We tried to categorize major mistakes we committ in the process of shopping during sales.

1. We examine range of shops before start of sales.

Naturally, we do it. Before the new year, for example, we are inspecting shopping malls, buying gifts to relatives and friends. And we cannot miss clothing lines. We need to explore all that is sold there and schedule a trip there during sales. As a result, we find an incredible thing we like and it suits us in all parameters, except price. Returning to the store in a month, we do not find it. Chances to meet this thing on a final sale are zero. Because hundreds of same women visited this store, and some of them had enough will power not to save and not to wait for sale. If you find something you dreamt of, just buy it.

2. We buy remains of collection representing really fashionable things.
This category includes things taking into account most recent trends of the season - like embroidered jeans paste, or super-mini skirts. They are so bright that they should be worn for exactly one season - not a day longer. Spend money on something more neutral and classic, or next season you will look ridiculous.

3. After hearing about starting sales, we decide to devote entire day to shopping to update your wardrobe.
Shopping is not the purpose of life. This is just another way to relax. According to my experience I can say going shopping for new clothes - is uncertain occupation. It is better to sleep well, eat breakfast, come in a large shopping center with a friend, and walk slowly around shops. Make a break for coffee, lunch or light chatter - and you can continue. In the evening go to the movies, and then go home and brag of purchases.

4. We lose faith.
Seeing a large basket with an inscription «All for 99», do not rush. Just think - do you need another pair of cheap gloves? Twentieth bag, which will not suit none of your shoes? A belt that will be damaged on the third day? Even taking into account funny price for these things, if you do not need them - you will just waste your money.

5. In the race for cheapness, we sacrifice comfort.
And often also reason. One of my friends bought a wonderful pair of Nando Muzzi shoes on sale, she had been dreaming of them for about six months before sale. And those shoes were good and comfortable, excellent color, fashionable and beautiful. Only size was wrong - my friend’s one was 39 th, and shoes were of 38 th. The last pair, with 70% discount. She did not resist. Eventually she was able to wear them for a week, damaged her feet and good shoes - she could throw them away with a light heart at that time.

6. We believe that if we can buy a cheap thing, we should not try it on.
If you want to go and spend money - give them to poor people. Remember that we do not spend money in shops, we buy clothes. Therefore, make sure that thing suits you in all options. And if you put this thing on at home and make sure it does not fit you - you will not be able to return it to the store, because items purchased with discount will not be accepted.

7. We buy the first thing, because we are afraid to leave without buying.
Shopping for a whole day, we realize that nothing is purchased. We are upset, and this is natural. Some people begin grieving on their standards and grab the first more or less decent blouse. Never mind that this is not a blouse of your dream. This is a mistake. Do you think you have wrong standards? This is wonderful! Originality was never called a drawback. Naturally, you are not accustomed to search for things of your size and style, but, believe me, the result is worth it. If you choose between fashion, which in essence is a template and your original style - choose style.

8. We focus on certain thing and not finding it on sale, refuse to buy something else.
Here everything is simple. If you were traveling for a coat of certain brand, color and size, and did not find such item in a shop - that is not your destiny. Ask consultants if you have a chance to meet this coat once more - it is quite possible that you can find it in stock stores. If you just need a new coat - look for something stylistically similar.

9. We are afraid to miss the season of discounts and do not know whether discounts will rise.
Overstocks are arranged twice a year, before they upgrade collections, plus Christmas sales, which discounts can reach 50%. Size and increasing of discounts depend only on the shop policy. Total sales offer discounts reaching 90% (April-May for winter collections, and August-September for summer), but more or less original things, of course, are bought first of all. Overstocks in expensive boutiques are more modest - discounts are growing slowly there, but given initial price, the final cost is pleasant.

10. We spend entire family budget on sales.
This is the biggest mistake you can make. Your friends can tell you how they hardly live up to salary, spending all money on purchases, you still cannot imagine how it happens in reality. You can spend a lot, you can spend very much, but in no case spend everything. Recipe against this mistake is simple: take as much as you plan to spend, and then add another 15% of this amount for emergency cases, if you all of a sudden meet the thing you have been dreaming of for a long.

Successful shopping, dear shoppaholics. And let shopping trips be pleasant.
