Doctors repeatedly argued in favor of breast-feeding. At this time, scientists found another feature of breast milk, useful for a newborn.
Doctors from Southampton (UK) had a 10-year study involving nearly 1,500 young mothers and their children and found that breast milk reduces the risk of various diseases of lungs, both in childhood and during adulthood.
For example, children who ate mother’s milk in the first 4 months, have better working lings, than kids on artificial feeding.
It also reduces the risk of allergic reactions and gastrointestinal diseases.
