Angelina Jolie is more than just an actress. Even if you speak about her participation in a cohort of the most famous, richest, influential, succeeding people of show business world, this will be little to characterise this unusual woman. An owner of “Oscar”award, and also three «Golden globe» awards, and two Screen Actors Guild awards still remains a secret for many people. In spite of the fact that stars at times feel very hard to hide their private life from society, she nevertheless manages to keep an intrigue round her life.

Her uneasy character is caused by ambivalence of her personality: she is both a goodwill ambassador of United Nations, and a politician, and mother – all in one. Just because she unites so many interests and predilections, critics and journalists cannot up understand her personality completely. For this purpose some strokes from a star’s biography, which cannot leave anybody indifferent! Angelina Jolie was born in Los Angeles in a family of known American actor and ex-Canadian actress. When Angelina was 11 years, she studied at Lee Strasberg Theatrical institute for two years, and also in Beverly Hills High school, where she appeared far not a unique student with actor’s ambitions, however, she always felt herself an outsider, because of non-standard appearance, a habit to wear clothes from second-hand and leanness (!).

Probably many will be surprised that her self-trust suffered even stronger, after all attempts to become a model terminated unsuccessfully. Later Jolie admitted she felt strongly suppressed and unfortunate at that time, considered herself useless, and, as consequence, started making cuts and wounds on her body. Once in an interview to CNN television channel she told the following: «I collected knifes and always had similar things round myself. For any reasons a ritual of drawing wounds to myself and sensation of pain from it, probably, sensation I was a live being, sensation of certain clearing were a therapy for me». At this age Angelina wore exclusively black clothes, painted hair in red colour and, by own recognitions, hated herself.

An actress’s private life was always a focus of mass media attention. Angelina was married twice, and both marriages ended with divorces. Both times her elects were partners in work. And after second divorce both had to remove tattoos with each other’s names from their bodies.

Her frank statements on a theme of own bisexuality added scandalousness round private life. An actress’s affair with her partner in «False fire» movie, Jenny Shimizu, an American of Japanese origin, became well-known.

Last Angelina’s affair became the main target of Hollywood paparazzi’s objectives: not only because one of the most highly paid and attractive actors of the world, Brad Pitt, became her partner, but also because Pitt was at that time married to “Friends” star, Jennifer Anniston, (Anniston sued for divorce in March, 2005, and Pitt-Jolie first pictures appeared only in a month.) Brad and Angelina persistently refused to make comments on character of their relations, though all world tabloids and Internet sites about celebrities were overflowed by their joint photos on public. Only on January, 11th, 2006 Angelina Jolie declared she was pregnant from Brad Pitt in one of interviews, thereby having confirmed their affair.

Actually, in one of interviews Jolie told she wished to have at least ten children, and as soon as possible! Should we be surprised? Though this actress will surprise us more and more, after all, she attracts her admirers this way.
