Permanent makeup becomes more and more popular now: temptation to apply makeup once for several years is too high. However, cosmetologists warn: you run risks! It is not so easy to remove results of unsuccessful tattoo. Let’s consider all pluses and minuses.

Humankind knew about tattoos long ago, but we heard of permanent makeup only in the end of 20th century. Due to an American cosmetologist’s invention – electric device for tattooing – we got a possibility of tattooing various pictures. And then this technology was used for permanent makeup.

Method

Temporal factor

One eyebrow’s permanent makeup requires about 40 minutes. Right after the procedure skin becomes red and swells a little – this is quite natural. Edema can present up to 3 days, like a usual cut or other light trauma, it brings no unpleasant sensations. Swell after eyeliner and lip liner tattoo is lightly bigger, as skin is much more sensitive in these areas. If you want to get more intense color, you can repeat the procedure two weeks after the first one. By that time you will see how your skin reacts to pigmentation. If tattooing is executed correctly, it can last up to 5 years. But you will need to take care of it, you know, pigments fade under the sun and are led out by organism, so tints will become paler with time. You will have to undergo correction once a year.

Caution!

Secondly, if ruddiness goes out of vogue, you will have to mask it with imposing quantity of foundation. Thirdly, skin of cheeks reacts to any weight changes very keenly. In case of emergency

We want to believe you won’t need these advices, but still… if you are not satisfied with permanent makeup, do not despair: there are ways to remove it. The most popular method is peeling and microdermabrasion. Due to intense skin renewal these procedures cause, pigment is led out more quickly and grows paler. Alas, you cannot remove a line along eyelashes this way. In such case you will need laser resurfacing and photorejuvenation. If they used natural pigments for your tattoo, flash bulb will destroy it, as well, as a spot after hyperpigmentation.
