Of course, it is very pleasant to luxuriate in a warm bath, but do not take a bath more than 2 times a week. If you take a bath more often, your body will not have time to supply skin with fat, because of which skin may begin to dry and peel.
Before taking a bath you should be prepared. Take a shower, after which you will wash off not only sweat and dirt, but also expand blood vessels and pores, relax muscles, relieve stress.
Prolonged stay in a bath leads to load on heart and other organs of circulatory system, moreover, it is harmful to skin, so take a bath no longer than 15-20 minutes. Water should not be too hot, it’s bad for the body and tiring for you.
After the bath you should thoroughly wash the body under a shower to remove any soap, shampoo, and softened horny scales. And in the end - rinse the body with warm or cool water to close pores again. In order to prevent skin peeling and dryness after a bath, smear skin with cream or milk, after which skin becomes smooth and elastic.
It is very useful to add herbal infusions and decoctions, sea salt, various natural products (honey, milk and so on) in a bath. These baths have strengthening and toning effect on the body, regulate metabolism, cleanse and soften skin, leaving it soft and smooth. In addition, some baths help calming nervous system and improve sleep.
Bath of cottonweed herb infusion
Boil 250 g herb in 2 liters water, brew for 40 minutes, pour in the bath (the temperature is 35C). After taking a bath, dry skin becomes elastic.
Bath of chamomile and common toadflax
This bath will also have a positive effect on dry skin. Take 100 g of each herb, pour with boiling water and boil on low heat for 10 minutes. After cooling, pour strained infusion into the bath.
Coniferous bath
Pour a glass of needle with 2 liters boiling water, leave in a thermos for 2 hours, strain, pour into the bath (temperature 30-35 C). Pleasant aroma bath will relieve fatigue, provide calming effect on nervous system.
Bath “Steppe nectar”. Mix grasses of oregano, thyme, mint, wormwood, plantain, yarrow, leaves of wild mountain ash in equal parts. Pour two glasses of mixture with 2 liters boiling water. Salt bath
Add 250-500 g table or sea salt in a bath. Such bath invigorates and improves health.
Smoothing bath
It is recommended against “goose” or keratinized skin. Pour 500 g potato starch (or a thick broth of oat flakes) and 2 tablespoons pine extract in warm water. After the procedure, rub nourishing cream or cosmetic lotion in moist skin carefully.
Cleopatra bath
Primarily, it affects skin and least on all internal organs. Preheat 1 liter milk, not bringing it to a boil. And in other dish - on a water bath - a cup of honey. Dissolve honey in milk then. Add 2 tablespoons of almond, pink, olive or other vegetable oil. After such bath skin becomes soft and smooth.
Bath from thistle broth
Brew 3 cups shredded thistle, draw, strain, pour into the tub. After such bath your skin will be elastic.
Herbal bath
It is recommended to people with oily acne skin. Put 25 g grains of juniper, lavender, chamomile, St. John’s wort herb, 50 grams lime blossom, thyme, peppermint in a gauze bag and put it into a saucepan, pour with 2 l water and boil on a high heat. Then cook the mixture on medium heat for about 30 minutes. Pour broth into the bath. Such bath can be taken daily, but 1 time per week is also quite enough.
If skin is, conversely, too dry, then a bath with addition of a thick broth of flax seed and chamomile (100 g of each herb) helps gaining elasticity.
Healing bath “Pleasant dreams”
A warm bath with decoction of camomile, lime blossom, mint and valerian root is very useful for health. It should be taken in the evening before bedtime. It rejuvenates skin, calms nervous system, improves sleep. You will feel a special freshness and vitality after awakening.
Tips
To provide skin with various useful substances in a bath with additives better, make body peeling before taking a bath. For example, using just such simple, but very effective recipe: tablespoon of salt per glass of cream. Apply this mixture on skin in a circular motion, rinse with warm water in a minute.
