Beautiful attractive lips is not only every woman’s dream, but also a bait for any man. Angelina Jolie became famous throughout the world and the first beauty title due to her lips. We will not try to imitate her, but only take care of our own lips: they may be no less alluring than a globally-recognized star’s lips.

Lip care. How to treat lips?

1. Every day remove makeup from lips. If you use a nutrient or moisturizing lipstick, it can be removed with usual tonic or lotion.

2. If you use long-lasting lipstick, then use a special tool. Carefully, without stretching lips, pat them with a moist swab. Then apply cream or balm.

3. Approximately once a week relieve lips of dead cells layer. To do this, there are special peels: they are produced in the form of cream or hygienic lipstick containing exfoliating components. By the way, there are two lipsticks in one - one half is hygienic, another - peeling.

4. A similar effect can be achieved through regular lip massage with a toothbrush dipped in cold water. In addition, this procedure stimulates blood circulation, and lips become more elastic, their color improves. If bristles of toothbrush cause irritation, you can massage lips with terry cloth.

5. Skin on lips is very thin, and therefore particularly sensitive. It begins to flake off because of wind, cold, dry air-conditioned air, ultraviolet rays. Therefore we must not forget that lips, as well as facial skin need daily care: cleansing, moisturizing, nutrition, protection. Unfortunately, we remind of this only when problems arise.

6. Lipstick is one of the ways to protect lips from environmental influences. Be sure to apply it before going out into the street. If you do not use decorative cosmetics, apply hygiene lipstick or gloss. Apply them only on clean skin.

Lip make-up

1.  First, apply on lips a little moisturizer (it can be any lip balm). This action will prevent them from dryness.

2.  Make a so-called “priming”, putting makeup foundation on lips with sponge. Carefully fill every crack and crease on lip surface - the surface should be completely smooth.

3.  Then apply a little powder over foundation. This way lipstick will stay longer.

4.  Draw contour with a special lip pencil. Lightly roll it between palms, it will warm and lie more smoothly. Start painting the upper lip, clearly drawing a “tick” in the middle. Then draw an accurate contour of the bottom lip.

5.  Apply lipstick with a brush, hide all wrinkles on lip surface. Paint lips not only outside but slightly inside, otherwise, during a conversation or laughter mucosa, sharply different from lip color, will make an unpleasant impression.

6.  Lipstick will stay longer if you wet lip surface with a paper napkin, then apply another layer of lipstick and then blot lips with a napkin.

If lips are thin

For thin lips choose moisturizing lipstick and gloss of light tones. Prefer natural shades - beige, caramel, pale pink. Matte lipstick of dark shades are not desired in this case.

In order to increase size of lips, apply foundation to mask its natural contour. Then draw a new one, retreating no more than 1-1,5 mm from natural line (it will look more natural). Shade contour and apply lipstick of the same color.

If you use lip gloss, never stroke lips with a contour pencil. Apply transparent gloss so as to extend beyond your natural line, on top of basic contour you should apply a light pencil, this will give lips extra volume.

There is another way to make lips bigger. You can use two different shades of lipstick. Paint lip corners with a darker shade of lipstick, but closer to the mid - apply a lighter shade.

If lips are full

If you have full lips, you’ll certainly want to emphasize this. But you have to do it correctly, to keep all their charm and not to make them looking vulgar. In this case, try to avoid bright colors and too much shine. Full lips look perfect with matte lipstick like no other. This way lips look more noble. Full lips can be just touched up with a pencil and shaded.
